We continue to support Safe Haven food bank on a regular basis
Centrepoint received a donation to provide a starter pack for the homeless
A local schoolboy has been given funds towards his expedition to Peru
We donated to the world wide Life Skills in Africa appeal
We donated to the the official 100 years birthday of Lions Clubs International on 7 June 2017 to set up a mile of food tins across the Humber Bridge.
We funded a publicly accessible defibrillator located outside Guiseley AFC, close to the public park and 3G football area. We will also shortly be offering first aid courses. More information to follow.

LS29 Group based in Ilkley will be our main Beer Festival beneficiary. With over 90 voluntary members they organise a wide range of opportunities for families to take part in outings and activities they may not otherwise be able to do.
LS20 were also the beneficiaries from the Charity Football tournament sponsored and supported by Guiseley AFC.
Every year we donate money to Guiseley Senior Citizens Association towards their annual seaside trip.
A contribution to help with the productions of the community arts development company based in Guiseley called JP Productions.(Spotty Socks)
BIG thanks to Drew Brady & Co of Bolton who donated 800 thermal hats which we have distributed to the homeless and needy individuals in our area through St Georges Crypt, Inn Churches and the Salvation Army.
Guiseley Youth Project – monies have been sent to cover set up costs (£200) and to provide funds for medals (£7.50/medal)
A local scout group have been given £250 towards their new kitchen
Inn Churches have been give a Christmas pack worth £30 to help the homeless this winter
Menston Beavers received £79.49 for their new flag and accessories
Alfie Yates - £250 donated for a Boma 7 all-terrain wheelchair for Tree of Hope because Alfie's DMD makes it tricky getting out and about! [more]
Inn Churches - £600 raised from the charity football tournament to help Inn Churches raise awareness of the plight of the homeless
Blind Veterans - sponsored walk by Phil and Matt Rogerson, we donated £100 for this worthy charity
Coffee morning on 21st June raised over £300 for Wesleys Wish.
Guiseley in Bloom - we will be supporting the GIB team again this year.
Mothers Union Holiday - spending money donated to a local family
Doncaster Games - £100 donated towards the running of the games
Guiseley Senior Citizens - £250 donated towards the annual outing.
Safe Haven – a Yeadon based food bank and furniture shop for those in need.
We have provided £40 worth of food (6 bags full!) and agreed to provide a regular donation every month for the next year.
Mother’s Union Holiday - We have have donated £500 to a family whose great grandmother is looking after grandma (with motor neuron disease), as well as mother and young child.
Giggle Doctors Phil Rogerson at Guiseley AFC has confirmed that Guiseley & District Lions have proposed that the recipient of the Community Shield Award (£500) should be the Theodora Children's Trust (Giggle Doctors), specifically for use at Leeds General Infirmary. Inn Churches - The beneficiary of the Charity Six a Side Football Tournament will be the Inn Churches Project for the homeless.
Brass Band Concert - 30 free tickets donated to Guiseley Senior Citizens Association for the concert on Friday 26th April.
